PUBLICOM'S "PRESENT PATROL" DELIVERS GOODIES TO AREA SENIOR CITIZENS

December 28, 2011

Christmas arrived a bit early this year for several Lansing area residents. On a snow-covered wintery day in late November, Publicom staff delivered boxes filled with presents to four senior citizens.

Tramping through several inches of snow, the 13-member Publicom "Present Patrol" delivered holiday cheer to Nancy McComb of East Lansing, and Pat Bellinger, Benjamin Burrell and Mary E. Denning, of Lansing.

In total, the seniors received thousands of dollars worth of food and gifts, including winter coats, Nike tennis shoes, microwave, can opener, canister sets, toaster, slow cooker, household cleaning supplies, personal hygiene products, towel sets, perishable and non-perishable food items, men and women's clothing, pillows and a Pyrex storage set.

The recipients seemed very pleased with Publicom's efforts.

"I am really glad and I appreciate your giving," said Mary E. Denning. "May God bless you always."
